Imagenetix’s management team, directors, and consultants are comprised of experienced and successful individuals in business and in science. These are people who are recognized as leaders in business and the bioceutical industry. William P. Spencer has served as Imagenetix’s President and C.E.O. since January 1999. From January 1986 until December 1996, he served as chief operating officer, chief financial officer, and executive vice-president of Natural Alternatives International, Inc. (“NAI”), a company engaged in the formulation and production of encapsulated vitamins and nutrients. He was president of NAI from December 1996 until October 1998 and was a director from January 1986 until October 1998. During the time Mr. Spencer assumed management positions at Natural Alternatives, the company’s sales and earnings grew approximately 50 fold and its market valuation grew approximately 100 fold. From 1976 to 1988, he was a regional vice president for San Diego Trust and Savings Bank. Mr. Spencer earned a B.S. degree in finance and an MBA degree from San Diego State University. Robert L. Hesslink, Jr., Sc.D. Director of Research and Development. Dr. Hesslink received his Doctorate of Science from the Department of Health Sciences at Boston University in 1987. Since 2000 Dr. Hesslink has been a consultant for Imagenetix and in 2005 accepted the position of Director of Research and Development for Imagenetix. Dr. Hesslink was stationed at the Naval Medical Research Institute, Bethesda, MD from 1986 to 1990. Dr. Hesslink was transferred to the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC), San Diego, CA in 1990 and remained there until his departure from the U.S. Navy in 1993. During his time at NHRC, Dr. Hesslink directed the Cold Weather Medicine program for the U.S. Marine Corps. In collaboration with Dr. David Systrom at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Robert co-authored a paper published in Journal of Applied Physiology investigating the influence of diet on exercising muscle metabolism and performance. In addition, Dr. Hesslink was a co-author on a paper selected as one of the top 25 research projects of 2000 by the Office of Dietary Supplements, National Institutes of Health (cited in Annual Bibliography of Significant Advances in Dietary Supplement Research). Dr. Hesslink has coordinated over 16 studies over the past eight years with academic institutions. He continues to publish and is active in the American Physiological Society. Derek C. Boosey is the Senior Olympics gold medalist in the triple jump in the 55 to 60 age class. Mr. Boosey has served as Imagenetix’s Vice-President of International Sales since September 1999. From 1994 to September 1999, he was a new business manager for Natural Alternatives International, Inc., and from 1990 to 1994 was director of marketing for Athletics Canada. From 1984 to 1990, Mr. Boosey was a technical advisor to the Korean Ministry of Sports and a sports and marketing consultant for Nike International. He earned degrees in physical education from Keele University (England) and Open University (England). Debra L. Spencer has served as Imagenetix’s Secretary and Treasurer since March 1999. Her responsibilities also include graphics layout and development of marketing material for the private label products. From 1987 to 1993, she served as vice president, secretary and treasurer for Vitamin Direct, Inc., a consumer mail order vitamin company. At Vitamin Direct, she was responsible for developing marketing material, generating leads, and customer relations for over 25,000 Vitamin Direct customers. |
